Hi, I’m Alison and I am a second-year University of Iowa student double majoring in journalism and graphic design. I have lived in Iowa my whole life and I am originally from Sioux City, IA. After graduating I am really interested in pursuing a career in music, fashion, pop culture, nature, or travel journalism. Any job that I could travel for would be amazing. I would also love to use my graphic design training to work with bands and artists to design album covers and other merchandise.
I am really interested in non-traditional forms of journalism such as video blogging on YouTube, and I follow several different fashion and music bloggers on the site that I’m inspired by such as Helen Anderson, Bunny Meyers, and Victoria. I also have a personal blog on WordPress where I am currently working on a project in which I’m blogging about my last one hundred days as a teenager.
